I have a 1998 Version 4 import Impreza STi. The steering pump reservoir has started leaking quite badly.
Would a steering pump from a Version 5 be totally compatible with my car?
The pictures I have been able to find of the version 5 part all seem to have an extra electrical connector, but otherwise look very similar.

Also, is there a steering pump rebuild kit available for the Version 4 - I haven't been able to find one. It looks like the gasket at the top of the reservoir has gone on mine, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
