Hi all

I am looking to replace the gearbox and engine mounts on a classic impreza.
I plan to do it using basic ramps and a jack to support engine/gearbox where required.

Is this a simple job or worth handing a garage to install?

Had a look on youtube and appears doable but tricky - just looking for experiences of folk who have actually undertaken the task!

Also do the gear box nd engine mounts make much of a difference? (group N)

Tw@t of a job,14mm ratchet spanner came in handy iirc.
Went for group N on mine,not really had much driving recently but felt a definite improvement,on and off throttle felt a bit sharper.
