Default Need some help with my 99 turbo 2000. Hot start problem

Owned my current 99 turbo 2000 estate a couple of months now, starts up first time every morning when cold, but then will not start back up once it has been running more than a couple of minutes.
iv changed the crank position sensor and its the same. Fuel pump primes when i turn they key but the fuel pump sounds a little rough when priming. Would a fuel pump cause a hot start problem?

Unlikely.

You ARE keeping your foot well clear of the throttle before and during starting, are you? If not, it floods.

Yeah never touch the throttle when starting, iv checked the on board diagnostic and its not showing any fault codes either. After looking at it further today i think its something to do with the ignition. The car doesn't fire even on easy start. But then starts up fine when left to cool down. Replacing HT leads and spark plugs tomorrow so il see how i get on.

Could also be the coolant (ecu side) temp sensor in the alloy cross over pipe, mine yrs ago did similair but wasnt as quick as yours as in only a few minutes of running , mine was fine cold, yet when warm would turn over and over then burble into life
