Default Fuel Tank Capacity

Got an 2006 Hawkeye.

Can anyone confirm actual fuel tank capacity. I believe its 60Litres.

However, when ive been fuelling ive never been able to get any more than 48-50 Litres in at one time and that's with the Fuel light on. Is the reserve really 20% of the tank capacity?

This I've found very useful

http://www.subaru-impreza.org/downlo...ical_Paper.pdf

Standard N/A Impreza for 2006 has a 50 litre fuel tank and everything else (2.0R Sport, WRX and STI) have 60 litre fuel tanks - it doesn't mention reserve tanks.

I hope this helps.

Andrew.

Subaru Australia have always been better in supplying information, although there may be some regional variations compared to a UK car.
