Default 70mm turbo intake hose for v3 sti 2.0

im in need of a decent turbo intake pipe for a v3 sti , the cars got a 70mm intake on the turbo (gt30) and the pipe ive got on isnt the best.

unless im not internetting properly the only 70mm intake i can find for subaru is http://www.avoturbo.com/catalog/prod...roducts_id=308

just wondering if i buy it - will it fit as cant find an answer.

or alternatively does anyone else have any other suggestions ?

im currently using the below , which does do the job, but is mishaped/crushed in places especially round powersteering tank and cant be ideal.

Get some phenolic spacers for the manifold to lift it. Then get a newage power steering tank and pipework take the power steering tank off your pump and fit a steel/metal connector of a newage pump. Then fit the pipework. Simon at Chevron can supply a pipe.

This is correct and what I had to do on my V3 STI to run a 70mm hose. I ran the RCM hose and it was fine once the other mods were done to make it fit.

is this the rcm kit you used? i spoke with mike at rcm who said the part about needing an adapter is an error in the listing and this is all that should be required for relocation as he says he ran his personal car fine with it with oem pump.

also what 70mm intake did you use?
