Hi guyss,

i am new to skoobynet. Hope your all well.
So i have a type r 2.1 stroker running a vf28 turbo. I had this replaced and then the car was parked up for a year, the car was started every couple of weeks etc. Now by sound of it the turbo has gone again.. it whines a lot and not boosting as it should either. What would be the cause of this ??

could be a whole number of things to the new turbo being duff, oil feed issues or something more serious. Get it to a specialist to give it a full going over cos i bet it has more than one issue.

As Tidgy says, get it looked at.
Don’t hammer it until you get some kind of report as to what’s wrong.
