Any engine can be made to fit any car, depends on how much work you want to do?
What version is the sti engine from? Will you be using the long engine or using your heads?
If using the long engine you will want the ecu from that version car and will at least swap a few pins over as the UK loom is slightly different.

Hi it's advertised as v5 6 jdm classic , didn't want another UK engine , as I'm aware the above engine is much better and and has forged internals ,

It's going to take a fair bit more work to sort if you intend using the v5/6 heads.

Different inlet manifold, icv, throttle body, possibly injectors, loom, could keep going.

Right nothing just straight forward 🙈 my other option was a ej207 bottom end and use my manifold ect , been told that'll work probably just have to get oil cooler ?

Heading the right direction just make sure you get the correct head gaskets.

There are a few options/variations of the ej207 but will all work with your heads etc, just the extra breather to delete.
Also believe the v5/6 jdm is ej207 and UK ej205 (not 100% sure tho)
