Default Feel like my Subaru doesn't sound quite right

Hopefully the video attaches fine, and excuse the shoes not fully on my feet but to me it sounds very different to what other subies sound like and I feel like it might just be me. That or somethings wrong. Anyone have any thoughts?

To me it sounds more choppy and not as clear as others ive heard. Maybe theirs are all fully decatted. I’m tempted to get a quieter exhaust anyway

Ticking over from cold?, if not its to fast.
Needs a cat in the system to mute it down, (its got the big muffer sound) may-be change back box.

Shoes are louder than the car

Yeah thats from cold, it ticks over at 1500 until you give it a blip and then it settles at 1100 until warm. Its just a cat back, definitely going to get something smaller if thats all it will be

Idle seems high, typically car should run,1000 rpm cold ,750 hot.

So when I initially turn it over it’ll sit at 1500 for a minute unless you give it a little throttle and it settles at 1100 for a bit then as it gets warmer it drops until its warm at 750 or there abouts.

I think it must just be the backbox, I’m going to get a H&S one that’s a little more subtle and doesn’t have such a boomy tone
