Mpg drop
ive just switched from tesco99 to v power and noticed a drop in mpg, I’m normally on around 26/27 backwards and forwards to work but it’s dropped to around 21/22. Is this normal with a fuel change ?. Everything is fine with the car currently with no running issues. Just seems strange to drop that much.

If you are depressed, it's best seeing a councellor instead of venting your frustration in here, no offence meant.
The same applies to others responding to your posts in a similar way.

Go back to Tesco 99 see if the normal mpg returns
Could be a bad batch of fuel?
Typically Tesco is a couple of pence per litre cheaper for what is essentially the same thing

I have noticed a similar drop in mpg the last couple of months. I only use v power
Just put it down to winter nothing else has changed. Air is colder/denser so more fuel is needed?

I was thinking about changing back to 99 for a couple of tanks to see what happens. It has been very cold recently so I assumed that it may be down to cold weather. I spoke to my mapper the other day and he told me that the car is good to use both vpower and 99 as it hasn’t been mapped too either. Thanks for the help guys

seriously ? Things like that shouldn’t happen. I’ve been using v power for 4 weeks now and the first tank I had I was getting a decent mpg.
