WRX boot spoiler, does it do anything?
So i was driving home this morning along the duel carriageway after my football game was called off and looked in my rear veiw mirror, it caught my eye that the frost had melted and puddled on my boot spoiler. Yet at 60/70 mph it wasnt really moving at all other than tiny bits on the absolute tip. I would have thought the air flow would clear that away instantly? Do does the standard low level spoiler actually do anything? Im thinking its just cosmetic perhaps?
Cheers

On top, if it's working properly, there should be a downforce, maybe keeping fluid in place?
Underneath, a lowering of pressure, so fluid would be whipped away. Like an aircraft wing upside down?
TBH, do any spoilers do much below 100mph?
