Default Oil leaking on exhaust.

Any help on this. Got oil leaking on the front of the exhaust on the drivers side of my 95 WRX. Cant see where its coming from and its driving me mad. Replaced the valve cover gasket an its still there. Oil control valve maybe?? Its not a lot but the smoke is so annoying. Want it fixed before i sell the car.

Can still be the oil left over when you changed seal.
get under there with a rag and clan bottom of engine block.
does the car have heatshields around exhaust where oil is dripping? Could be oil in them.

It seems to be on the heat shield right at the front of the engine. Can’t see any drops. Have given it a good spray with degreaser. Will try wiping the casing off and see if it helps. Just don’t want to sell it knowing there’s an issue

Not many mate the islands only 3x1.5 miles. 35mph speed limit as well. Not really a practical car, hence why I'm selling

Forged crank apparently, have the receipt for it. Rest of the internals are standard Subaru I’ve been told. Runs great apart from that little leak
