Default WRX Engine Swap Issue

Hi

I've just had to replace my engine due to a blown bottom end !!

The engine was replaced from a donor vehicle but after connecting everything up I get 7 fault codes, causing the engine to run poorly.

The next step is to swap the inlet manifold and harness from the blown engine to see if the fault codes clear.

The codes are as follows:
P0328 Knock Sensor Circuit High
P0118 Engine coolant Temp Circuit High
P0508 Idle Air Ctl Circuit Low
P0113 Intake Air Temp Circuit High
P0031 H02S Heater Ctl Circuit Low
P0246 Turbo Wastegate Solenoid A High
P0519 Idle Air Ctl Sys

I can't imagine that ALL the sensors have gone but just wondered if anybody else has has the same issue ??

Any advice much appreciated

Check that the big brown and black connectors are clicked together properly behind the battery and in front of the windscreen washer tank.
ive had a similar issue before and that was the cause.

Cheers gazney101, i'll try it tomorrow morning.

The car just doesn't seem to want to pickup, as if it's got no turbo !!

If your idea doesn't work, it's inlet manifold off and fit the original manifold and harness.

thanks again

Hi

checked the harness block connectors, one of the wires had been pushed out on the black block.
This seems to have sorted some of the issues ie currently no fault codes showing but maybe needs a longer run.

The engine still doesn't idle well but at least I found one wiring fault with your advice gazney101

Thanks
