Blobeye Samco turbo inlet hose

Hi there,
Does anyone know if it is possible to run the samco turbo inlet pipe with the standard air box? If so have you got any photos at all or is it necessary to fit an induction kit?

I run a Samco inlet pipe on mine with a stock airbox. No pics just now - it's dark and bloody cold outside
