Default Sick of fuel starvation on track... What are my options?

After suffering this again on Sunday at Blyton, I'm keen to find out what the options are. I know there are swirl pot setups and also the Spec C pump option.

What's best and what should I be looking for with a swirl pot setup? I'm running an FPR, FMIC, about 350bhp on a Blob STI currently and plan to go past the 500 mark within a year.

Appreciate any help

I’ve got a 1.5l swirl pot that sits in the engine bay with a Bosch 044 pump feeding rails. Works perfect on track

If the car is also a daily driver I would go with the Spec C in-tank fitment, if mainly track the swirl pot is a good solution. In my set-up the car fuel pump acts as a lift pump to the swirl pot which then feeds the Bosch 44 connected to the rails, (same as John). I'm not happy with all that going on when driving around town etc so I swop over the pipes to standard and pull the fuse on the Bosch for daily stuff.
The fuel surge happens when my tank is under 1/2 full so the Spec C system would get over that quite nicely.

It's not a daily. It does sometimes get used for a run out on country roads or maybe gets taken to work once a week but otherwise it's a track car first and foremost.

A straightforward swirlpot set up as described would easily support 500hp.
OBP swirlpots are good and easily sourced, braided hoses where possible.
Just to plan it well before buying stuff, obvious one, direction of in/out pipes on swirlpot, there are various options.
My external pump ( Bosch044) is wired direct to the battery via a 25 amp relay and then wired to the fuel pump controller which on mine is in the rear offside wing. The Bosch then mimics the car pump, i.e. primes then shuts off etc.

The Racing Lines swirl pot does actually use the Bosch 044. When is it you need to be looking at twin pumps, power wise?

I ran an OBP swirl pot with a Bosch 044 and braided lines under bones set up at 460BHP on my V3STI. In 5 years only had one issue when a hose sprung a leak but I put it down to the hoses not being up to the meth mix. Changed the lot to higher quality hose from AS and never had another issue, also used heat shroud on the hose which ran over the turbo as advised by AS.

Big big power, otherwise in tank with a swirl pot and 044 will be fine on slicks up to 550bhp
