what do people use? likes of Moog/Meyle/Blue Print just as good as OEM?

Moog are supposed to be good on other applications I've never fitted any to a Subaru so can't really help on that one. Why not go oem.

Genuine Subaru on my widetrack STI last week, 50 quid for the pair with the castle nuts and pins.

Likely to last a long time and not much more expensive than pattern parts.

just curious more than anything from putting ball joints on my other cars - where you tend to find certain part manufacturers end up supplying OEM parts anyhow and you get them at lesser price of the OEM item for the same OEM item. Lemforder & VW for example


i see you can get Hard Race ball joints for Subaru which are cheaper than OEM, yet Hard Race suspension components are usually seen as an upgrade over OE items?

Your answering your own questions. Most manufacturers tender out supply of a big percentage of their oem parts. For example IPD generally supply a lot of caterpillar parts.

yeah i guess that was more or less my question, are there OEM quality items that aint the OEM cost
