Which alternator will fit GC8
driving to shops and battery&brake warning lights came on,I believe this means my alternator is dying or bad battery.
Just bought a new battery,sat in halfords car park waiting for rain to let up a bit so I can fit it,the battery that's on is an old varta so probably due a new one.
Question:If it is a dying alternator which model/versions will fit my car?
Car is a v3sti.

A fair list of cars with this alternator there
I will probably look out for a better/newer/recon or look into reconditioning mine at some point.
I was in urgent need so after ringing around a few places i found one from a v4sti close to home,£30 so a good price,picked it up fitted and now the multimeter reads a nice 14.35v on tickover
