Default Turbo oil seals

I recently have had the oil seals blow on a vf36 fitted to a gc8 classic ware literally the oil on idle was pouring into the down pipe . I fitted a spare turbo that had slight play and as soon as I fired it up it pretty much did exactly the same.
Is there something that could cause this ?
Oil return pipe blocked internally in the engine (rubber hose is ok )
What size restrictor should the banjo bolt be on the turbo feed pipe ?
I'd like to eliminate any further turbo issues before I spend circa £2000 on a new turbo for the same to happen again ..
Thanks in advance .

These guys are good for spares: turbo rebuild

I've rebuilt my vf43 recently with their parts and it wasn't too bad. You might need to balance it though, or just mark the shaft, nut and compressor wheel with a paint pen then be sure to remove the marks after.

Good luck!

Cheers for the reply mate.
Anyone ever had problems with a blocked oil return pipe ?
