Thanks.

Never heard of them. Which is never a good sign.

I hear you Andy,

I have also not got a response from them. Essentially I am looking to take your advice about a small remap when I get the FSTi so that it runs better on V-power (will drop a panel filter in for good measure ) as I live near Portsmouth I wanted to find somewhere close if possible.

I think Duncan (aka RaceDynamix) actually lives on your doorstep somewhere near Bournemouth now. I know a lot of people talk negatively about him but he mapped my previous car for me and it was perfect through it's life. No issues.

Cool, I will look him up. I did look into Subaru 4 you but they dont seem to do their own mapping, from what i can see and if thats the case I would rather get a mapper to surrey rolling road than travel up to Newbury.

Have heard of a few that have had theirs mapped at Subaru4u. Not sure which mapper they use. You mat want to ring them to find out.

Duncan maps at Surrey Rolling road every week now.

Yep. That's Duncan's daily now. 2.35 built by Paul Finch with a modest 450bhp-ish. Looks very nice. Love that colour.

Looks promising then if I can get him to Surrey Rolling Road.

I might fit an uprated fuel pump before if i get time, I assume the newage fuel pump like the SWRD colossus will be fine?

Yep. Speak to Darrell at Scoobyworx and get one of his 340lph SWRD pumps. I have the newage impreza one fitted to my 04 FSTI and it dropped straight in. Plug and play.

I also have his 3 port boost solenoid which comes with a plug and play loom. Certainly worth doing before mapping also.

Yeah I put one in my hawk, quality piece of kit. I saw that you had used the 3 port in your build thread, do you think it made much difference with the map?

It probably won't give you much if any bhp increase but it does give you far better control over boost levels when the car gets mapped which will give you a better map at the end.

Eurospec have been around for a long time. I've not used them myself, but they were one of the go-to experts when I used to have my Mitsubishi FTO (about 10 years ago!). No idea if they have any knowledge of Scooby's and remaps though.

I'd not use them, they are on my doorstep but I use people that specialise in subaru mapping. Have heard some bad things but you do always in hear the bad stuff usually

Do you really think it's worth fitting one? Andy forest website doesn't mention about fitting one for under 300bhp.

To be fair, this will only be the foundations for further modifications later this year, I am hoping to get her to a comfortable 350 by mid next year so the 3 port will come into play.

I think they do specialise in Nissan tuning Busta.

Race dynamics looks like a good step forward, just waiting for a response.

£420 for a full map, thoughts would be appreciated as I have not had remapping done before.

I paid £350 for a open source remap from Andrew Carr a year ago. Many many years ago Duncan charged me £350 for my remap on my hawk, but that was a long time ago now and I believe the price you've been quoted is his current price.

If you want Ecutek it will be more expensive at £550+ depending on the mapper.
