Default 2008 Hatch STI FMIC or TMIC 400bhp+

Hi all,

Currently in the process of getting my 08 Hatch sti forged and would like to go for 400-450bhp as a good starting point, whilst the engine is out figured look at potentially FMIC or TMIC.

Can anyone recommend a decent FMIC or TMIC that is suitable at this level without emptying my wallet further, some people have suggested the Japspeed but there aren't any recent threads or reviews on what they are like.

Thanks a lot

I'm running 442hp/390ftlb through a Grimmspeed TMIC on 2.1 stroker with an SC46 , works well and pleased with the results. Process West also do a 400hp+ TMIC that seems to work quite well from results out there.

I get 1bar @ 3600 rpm and 1.8bar @ 4100rpm

Any UK stockists on the Grimmspeed? I'd seen that mentioned in an older thread.

I have a Chevron Motorsport TMIC that i'd consider selling as no longer part of my plans... have a read up about them, sounds like its what you're after, and let me know if you'd be interested.
