Default Rusted radiator mount

I found a nasty surprise lurking at the front if my 03 plate blobeye today!!! So I'm looking for some advice, does this part come seperatly or is it sold as a complete front end frame? If it does come separately has anyone replaced one before and is it a relatively simple job (concidering the amount of bloody parts that are spot welded to it) for someone who is handy with a welder??...hope someone can advise!!

I will paste my replies from another thread.

It just supports the radiator, I drilled out the spot welds with a spot weld drill bit and plug welded the new panel on. Didn't take that long to find and drill them all out, seem to remember about 10 either side and a few on the centre support

It does come in two parts, top and bottom section. You will also need to bolt on the radiator brackets with the rubber inserts that the rad pegs drop into. You can reuse the old ones if they are not too rusty.

It can be bought from Subaru or Import Car Parts lists a kit which has all new parts for less than 100:

Post up some pics of this if you do it your self would be nice to have a good how to guide as it seems to be common on Subaru's of that era.
