MY 97 Spal Fan Wiring (3 wire to 2 wire)
Hi all,
I recently had a custom intercooler and rad installed similar to the lateral performance one. I also used two Spal slim line fans due to space constraints. The fans are two wire in comparison to the 3 wire (dual speed fans) that come on the car. I wired up the fan ground and the low speed signal wire to the fans and they come on as before at about 91oC. However, the problem I am having is when the car is then turned off the fans stop immediately with no overrun to remove the residual heat from the radiator.
Has anyone any experience with the same issue, or have they any idea as to how I can solve this issue? Should I just splice in the high speed power wire?
