Ha I'm in the same boat . My leak is directly under the 2 sensors in the Alloy pipe , but it isn't those leaking , it seems to be coming from under the Alloy pipe itself , going to borrow a flexible camera to see .

If it's under the alloy crossover pipe then it's probably the rubber O ring

ive had 2 leaks in recent times with my bug sti. the first was where the water pipe Tee,s off to the throttle body. right at the T junction basically. we ended doing the throttle body bypass mod and cut it out. months later i got another one which was the crossover pipe which runs under the inlet manifold to under the header tank. my mech had to strip the top of the engine to sort it, he wasnt best pleased lol.

Rubber O ring ?

And yeah I'm suspecting to have to remove inlet manifold , another ball ache !

But mine doesn't leak consistently , doesn't leak as much if I use the car lots , more so when left stationary a day or 2 .

Don't forget a little of this stuff along with your "O" rings. It is the Business. When I had my V5 classic engine out I changed all the cooling water system hard piping, x/o pipe, radiator bypass pipes etc. Also applied a little of this along with the new "O" rings. I also use this on water pump seals when I am in changing timing belt, water pump, idlers & timing belt tensioners. It is the business, belt & braces just gives you a little more protection over & above the seal or gasket. Was good enough for RR then it's good enough for me

My engine builder swears by this stuff

The worst thing about taking off that inlet manifold is getting the turbo intake pipe back onto the turbo housing round the whole 360 degree circumference, that bottom bit is murder, double check you got it on fully, use mirror or fingers to check if you have small hands that is, been there & got the T shirt

Wellseal was developed by Rolls Royce Ltd and manufactured under license, this compound is the complete answer to sealing problems on machined faces.

Stag Wellseal jointing compound is non-flammable, has easy partability and is non-hardening it is formulated to give the best possible sealing performance under a wide variety of conditions.
It can be used to seal threaded connections as well as flat- faced joints and can be used with or without a gasket, depending upon the design of the assembly.

Stag Wellseal Jointing Compound is highly resistant to the majority of commonly used field, lubricants and coolants and is non-corrosive and free from abrasive fillers.

For reference, here are some pics of my leak from under the Alloy cross over pipe

This one is right underneath at the back, the actual leak itself.

This one is from more directly underneath the 2 sensors, the result of the leak after a while
