Default Benefits of switching to a twin scroll sump?

I've read that some people do this, and it's supposedly better for a track car but I'm not clear why?

How good would a twin scroll sump setup and a Cosworth/RCM baffle plate be? Does it hold more or less (thinking less) oil than a single scroll sump? ANy negatives, including oil capacity?

What year is yours? I was told that the hawkeye onwards already had the twinscroll sump fitted as standard.

I'm sure someone will correct me.

I think it does, yeah. 2.5 is apparently the same. Mine's a 2005 widetrack Blob.
