Default Rod knock again help

Hi i recently had my 2006 wrx 2.5 rebuild new gaskets bearings and all that good stuff two weeks late bang knocking again and car completly dies but still starts the knocking only happens when car is warm sounds like its coming from under my altantor i am taking it back to the mechanic who done the rebuild but any ideas on what could off happened the was drove sensible since rebuild hasnt been thrashed about.

What was replaced on the rebuild?

By bearings to you mean the crank bearings?

on a 2.5 HG is a full rebuild including bottom end or there is a high chance the crank bearings will fail. I suspect that's whats happened

Faulty cambelt tensioner / pulley ?

Might sound a bit of a strange suggestion, but if you do a search in youtube you'll soon see it's not uncommon ie:

This guy's RS developed a knock after the head gaskets were placed and a new timing belt tensioner fitted.

Found the problem cheers it was the heat shield above my turbo and found out my turbo is burning oil aswell
