Hi guys, I have a 2008 wrx hatch and am thinking of getting a bit more power and a little more noise. I'm thinking of getting a sports cat down pipe and decat cat pipe and obviously mapped. I heard somewhere that the back box on this model is quite restrictive and would be worth getting a new one at the same time. Just wondering your guys opinions because I know most cars back box will just make noise, not power.

Any other advice welcome, (fuel pump worth doing etc) I'm not wanting to go too mad with it as it's my daily. Cheers

If your thinking of replacing the exhaust do the whole thing. Replacing the rear back box will make a difference on power. As aftermarket systems are less restrictive.

Of course if you don't want it too loud I'd go for milltek or scorpion system.
