Default DIY Pitch Mount Help

I'm looking to make a pitch mount for my blob wrx.
Stuck in two minds whether to mill some Aluminium or weld up some steel tube.
Has anyone else fabricated one from tubular steel?
Either way, what size bolts attach to the bulk head/gearbox and whats the dimension between them?

Cheers

I made one to work with the Audi gearbox on my Impreza, just used steel tube. Question is why do you need to make one?

Sounds like it might be the way to go then, bit quicker that way i suppose.
I cant afford to spend the money buying one and luckily have the facilities to make stuff so its a no brainer for me really.

Most people who fit solid or polybushed ones (on a road car), go back to OEM due to the NVH (Noise, vibration, and harshness) it generates/transmits through the bulkhead.

Thanks for the advice, and yeah the car is my daily driven machine. However I don't do many miles in the car and a bit of NVH is acceptable to me. My plan was for one end to be solid and the other (probably bulkhead) to be polybushed. I feel like this will give me a "somewhat" acceptable solution. My engine at the moment moves around quite a bit on the worn out standard item.
