Default 6speed whine 1st and 2nd.

Heey guys,

Yesterday i went driving in the wet with a little bit of sliding and some spiritual driving. With my 96' impreza equipped with a 6 speed.

When i was sliding and stuff i noticed in first and second gears i hear a whine from the gearbox when i shifted tor third i couldn't hear it anymore.. but when i was driving normal it dissapeard after a mile or 2. So i suppose it does have something to do with the gearbox getting hot? Because when i drive normal or just going straight fast a couple of times nothing happens.

Also since i installed the six speed my car wont go over 1 bar anymore. But runs great on further notice.

What do you guys think this could be and how to fix it?

picture just for attention

Gearbox will load differently compared to a 5spd so may need a map tweak.

Its not supposed to whine..... So you may find a bearing is shot from driving like a *** on the road...

i like to look at both sites, the pistonheads one is not as active as here but still a good site to be on and also free of charge
