Default Hit a kerb in the wet in my pride and joy 😭

Hi guys never really wanted to put a post up like this but here we are. Looking on advice on what to do it's pulled out the drive shaft and bent the sway bar, alloys totaled and hub too. Has anyone got recommendations on who to call in the U.K. For Subaru parts off brakers. Tried to find parts in the market place section but could only see sti's and mines a WRX blob eye.

Cheers guys
Ruairidh

Those tyres are smooth as glass. I had the same happen to me in a civic years ago when I skidded off the A1. I knew my tyres were bald but kept on driving on them anyway. I was lucky not to die and the civic was a piece of s**t, so I wasn't bothered about the car. It taught me a very harsh lesson and ever since then if my tyre is near legal limit I'll get it replaced at the earliest time I can.
You've almost certainly done this damage through those tyres. Learn your lesson for the future and just be glad that your car isn't a write off.

Looks like it just needs a hub and driveshaft and assorted bolts? Not too bad tbh, make sure you get an alignment and your suspension checked for bends too.

Yes they are s**t tyres but the guy I bought the car from had just a full set of these on (god knows why) and when I got the car at the start of June I pushed back the tires because there was other things needing done first and since they had loads of tred left I pushed them to the back (just to clarify they still have heaps of tred left, I wouldn't drive a car with bald tires. its not worth the points.) iv been working through things one by one brakes, belts, fuel pump, wheel bearing, new exhaust because the other one was held together with gum gum and sods law of it is the next thing on the list was for the tires but yes live and learn :/ and yeh Kaeo that's what im hoping too, just that and wheels.

cheers guys

You need to find a wrx breaking on ebay. They are different to the sti hub so the breakers on here prob wont have a hub.

for you to have damaged a wheel in that way there have been some serious lateral forces, the wheel broke but the rest of that energy has gone up the shaft and possibly into the diff, it may be fine if you throw a wheel and hub on today, but I bet there is some damage to the diff, as there was no where else for that energy to go,
So make sure it is checked properly.

They are called bct s800, worst of the worst. actually I tell a lie I cant fault them in the dry. But I recon humidity would be enough to make you feel it on a round about or something.

Last car I ran with really ****e was an MR2 Turbo. Slid off the road and down an embankment. I was only running the tyres because I planned to replace the set of wheels as soon as a decent set came up.

You live and learn. Damn you, Champiro Bax!

Wouldnt it have been easier and cheaper just to find one of the wheels you already have?
also makes a full set if you do change, so they are sell-able . .

I have no idea what the alloys are that are on that came with car plus they had been badly re-sprayed plus I would need 2 because the front was in a bad state of affairs too after the crash. But at the end of the day even if I have to buy a new grid for 180 iv still only paid 280 for a full set of grids haha!
