Clutch master cylinder repair ?

Clutch master cylinder repair ?
Anyone attempted this?
I have a repair kit of seals and circlip.
Pulled it off the car, and old wire clip came out no problem, I expected the piston assembly to come out too but it doesn't. Its held in somehow but not at the end of the cylinder ie there's no lip and I cant see anything else to dismantle.
Anyone got any clues?
Something to do while Strictly's on at least
Cheers
