As above i know the nur spec r is a 3 inch system and the flanges are 2.5 according to what I've read.

My question is if i buy the nur spec r system and take the back box off and mate it to a afterburner 2.5 centre section will it fit? Also will it reduce down in noise level?

 

I tried mating a milltek centre yo a blitz nur spec back box and failed as they won't match up on the ends

 

The milltek is 2.75 so the flanges are different i think. Because the nur spec tapers down to 2.5 i thought it'll match to the back box

 

The flange is 2.5 inch at the front. Where the middle section meets the rear section won't bolt up to a standard system. Unless you get the nur spec s which is back box only

 

Nur Spec R is 3" joint at the centre section to the back box.
