Default Engine rebuild kit

Well, it's that time again... metal bits in sump, so need to strip down and rebuild.

Does anyone in the UK sell a complete bottom end kit? All I can find is various individual seals etc.

My advice is save yourself some time and buy a brand new OEM ej207 short block from import car parts.
£2200 if I remember correctly.

Rebuilding yours won't be far away and you will have an engine that will handle 450+bhp should you feel the need

Yeah that would be an option, but I've already got a forged 2.1, which has scored the bores, so think I'll probably rebuild this one for now.
