Android phone headunit
Hi guys
Does anyone on here run their android based phone through their head unit for music? iPhones are usually plugin and play with a USB, but wondering what people have done with their androids as it doesn't work in the same way.
Was thinking maybe just an aux lead and the USB to charge? Or bluetooth the phone to the headunit through an app?
Am interested to know if anyone has anything setup.
Cheers

Yes, Bluetooth has been around for years on car stereo.
Anything you can play on your phone will come through stereo.
Also can get headunits with built in mics for taking calls as well.
I've used jvc headunits for years as they do absolutely everything in one.
Even dvd.

I have this:
https://www.google.co.uk/#q=Sony+XSP-N1BT
Its ok but infuriating at times connects via NFC + Bluetooth.
It takes the apps off your phone and puts them into its own UI, so you can run spotify, Soundcloud, whatever you want really.

I have a Sony MEX-N4000BT - considering the price, it was a great upgrade for the standard HU - and I use it to stream music via Bluetooth from my HTC M9 all the time, can't complain at all.
