Default Threaded bar instead of up pipe studs?

Hi!

I have my car booked in with race dynamix for a map and I fear my turbo up pipe studs will not arrive in time.

Any problems with using stainless m10 threaded bar instead?

Or are their any other local places in essex which sell the m10 1.26 41mm stud which you know off?

Thanks!

Make sure it is the correct pitch of M10 sure it is metric fine

If it is same thread and nuts go on then should be okay

Thanks for the response!

A local components shop has 37mm studs with 1.25 pitch.....wondering if these will be too short to get nuts on the turbo end....From experience is there a lot of stud poking though the turbo?

Standard M10 has a pitch of 1.5mm, the studs you need must be M10 x 1.25, if you get bar to suit only use it temporary as the shoulder on proper studs help lock them in place.

Thanks for the responses.

Should I plug the o2 sensor and remove it or reinstall it to the new up pipe?

I assume it is not needed once mapped?

Thanks
