What is best stuff to use for heat management in the bay,
I need Turbo Blanket to fit SC42
Wrap for headers and downpipe, (Up-Pipe already done)
Reflective wrap or insulation for inter-cooler piping,
Also heat shield for Turbo as stock one corroded. (Perrin is all i can find)
Any other thoughts/suggestions welcome

The problem you have here is most turbo jackets are designed for externally gated turbos, therefor using a them on an internally gated turbo can be tricky. I took my turbo to a local DEI dealer and tried a few on to find the best fit
Much longer lasting than wrap on exhaust parts, probably no difference on intercooler pipes. However I would use the gold heat reflective tape from dei on the cooler pipes
Zircotec wanted almost £500 to coat my 2 intercooler pipes.
I thought that was very expensive.
It is expensive I paid £185 for exhaust housing, due to higher temperatures had a different coating and £150 for heatsheild . . .I'm sticking with TMIC so need to keep that from heat soaking. Didn't want to hack the front of my Classic STi Wagon for a FMIC . .so I think it's worth it in the long run.

No need to hack the front of the wagon out for an fmic.

I have seen them on the lateral website but not much info on it no price listed either :/ . . .do you have that one fitted ? Got any pics ?
Got mine delivered today for my hot side IC pipe.
Unsure of wether to do other ic pipe too around engine just to keep that cool aswell, if so i think ill need some more
It looks great although I don't think it will have a big enough effect to justify the cost functionaly, as aluminium is great at dissipating heat to begin with.
Just my opinion but would love to see some testing as has been said
Anything is worth 'try' to bring the temp down, even if just a fraction on IC pipes, it's not looks I'm after, bought it for purpose.
I can't back to back test it tbh, I can plug computer in, load a map and that's about it lol

Think I will cover the Intercooler sides as its looking a bit tired after 16 years and on the bonnet underneath where the vents are looking a bit discoloured and was going get them carbon dipped but the gold would bling it up a bit

LOL. Mr Harding´s engine bay will now probably become totally gold, he will not be able to help himself.
