I've bought a TD05, all looks in good condition, minus the rear Compressor Wheel, some of the fins look bent on the ends.

Is there any guides around to help me? Guessing i will need a torque wrench to tighten up new rear compressor wheel. Any help would be great.

 

Forget what it is worth mate probably better of buying another tdo5

 

Depends what you mean by bent - compressor wheels can be designed that way

Rear compressor wheel? Stripping down and rebuilding a TD05 is pretty straight forward to be honest.

 

Yes rear compressor wheel, i will get some pictures up, to show what i mean.

 

You mean the turbine wheel on the exhaust side? If that's damaged you'll need a new shaft.

Yes you could.

The rotating core assembly will need balancing once assembled.




refurb kits go for about £25 on the bay

 

So I'd need to send it off to get balanced. Any places to recommend? Thanks
