Hi. Im thinking of upgrading my oil pump on my type r impreza. As i hear of crank and bearing trouble on some engines.
What would be a good upgrade? Who sells them etc? Looking around theres 9 mm 10mm 11mm and 12mm. Whats standard on a type r? Any help appreciated.

10mm with a modified valve will be one you want

I went for a RCM one pretty sure it was a modified 10mm.

 

10mm is ok so for a standard type r sti ?? No need of bigger

 

If it's stock engine yes, 10mm be fine

 

AA may give you a discount if you speak to and its an RCM pump
