oil usage

Default oil usage

I recently rebuilt a Subaru version 7 Import, I stroked it to 2.2. since then ive been using around 300 miles till per litre of oil. no smoke, no smell of burning oil and no leaks and I'm wondering would any one know where the oil is going

1L per 1k is the point at which oil consumption is considered an issue, sounds like its well over that

1l to 300 miles ooft thats way too much forged engines can use a bit but not that much, who built it and how was it run in?

What length stroke have you got fitted ?

Was it run in on a mineral oil?
