I'm looking for way to get more bass from my exhaust.
Should be not to loud but nice burble.
I'm wondering about change my back box from wrsport for hayward and scott. Is that good way or you recommend anything else eg change centre pipe?

 

On my Hawk ive put a full 3" RCM turbo back system with centre resonator on and it sounds superb, nice bubble on tick over plenty of volume when going through tunnels on full throttle and the de cat down pipe releases plenty of turbo noise.
Really nice quality kit and fitted straight on the car with no problems.

On the down side it was expensive and if im honest just a little to noisy when just cruising so may have been better with 2.5"

Only went for the RCM system as my old classic had a RCM 2.5" full system and the sound on that was perfect either cruising or on full blast.

So depends how loud you like it.

Also mention that a remap afterwards releases bucket loads of mid range torque

 

Start with trying a straight through centre section, it's cheaper than faffing with back boxes. You'll also get more lower tones coming through.

 

Have you ever had it checked at a track day for dB levels?

I've got the same RCM 3" turbo back system for my GF8 waiting to go on and wasn't sure if it would be too loud for a trackday :/

 

No never had the dB checked so i don't know the level, but ive not tracked the hawk.
It depends which track you go to though, some have different noise restrictions, only time i ever got tugged was at croft but after talking to the marshalls they let me continue if i lifted off slightly at certain parts of the track, not ideal but not a wasted day either, although that was in my other car not a scooby.

Back to your question, i don't consider the RCM system excessively noisy, there are much louder systems about that appear at track days.

Not much help to you i know but for track days there are ways around it if you find yourself a little over the limit.
