Default Car battery charging

I bought a new battery 2 years ago it's sat connected to the car but flat for months , the indicator on the top is black aparantly needing recharged , white would mean it's broken , I have had it on charge the best part of a week still nothing , before I buy a new battery is there anything else I can do , the charger looks cheap and small is it maybe the problem , I can't seem to open the battery to refill it

Maybe you could bring it back to life as there is a procedure on the internet but personally i would buy another battery.

Get a ctek battery charger it has a feature to restore the battery. A friend of mine had a Bosch battery sitting in his car for over a year flat and then one charge it's been fine ever since.

Had a look at the ctek , it's the same price as a cheap battery ,

I had a look at my charger and found a fuse has blown , the lights on it still work but nothing from the connectores I'll stick the battery back on charge and see if it works ,

Well , it turns out there is a fuse in my charger that when blown the charger still appears to be working , but wasn't , I did test it on a light and it was working but at some point the fuse blow , anyway battery was on charge for couple of hours and car started , don't have to push it back into the garage now .

And the car still sounds awesome , I'm very tempted to drive it but with no interior and little exterior I'll have to resist
