Default Sti V3/4 ecu 6s and 8s

Hello Guys.

Does the 6s and 8s ecu has the same pin out ? can I swap and plug and play on on both ?

8s from a UK
6s from STI
So no they're not just plug n play.
As well as having different map for a totally different setup,there are pins in different locations.

Thanks for reply but are the plugs the same ? I can change over the wires if needed. there will be an esl board going in it.

Its the crank and cam sensor pins that are reversed from JDM to UK and fuel pump trigger

Thanks alot. So form the link you posted. So 17 goes in the place of 7 vice versa and 10 goes in the place of 8 vice versa? Please confirm.
