Default Toyosport FMIC on TD05 top entry

What's the general verdict on toyosport fmic. Taken a chance on a very cheap one as my tmic has a lot of fun damage so thought I'd replace. It's V1/2 with td05 top entry.
Not looking for huge power and have a few mods ready to be installed and mapped just wondered about opinions on the toyosport.

It, like most FMIC's aimed at early cars, probably won't fit very well out of the box. To the best of my knowledge they are all designed around later FE turbo'd cars, V3-6.

No idea how it will perform, anything is better than the slanty intercooler though.

Well the guy I had it off took it from a v1/2 and looking at the state of the rest of the car and the lack of front bumper support I think the car I have had one so should (fingers crossed) fit OK.

Any elaboration on why? Surely as said before will be better than the badly damaged fins of the slanty??

Just because the core physically fits, doesn't mean the rest of it is a good fit.

My cheap Autobahn 88 FMIC doesn't lose the bumper support. The fit was shit out of the box though.

Pipe needs cut by the bumper, needs lots of modification at the turbo outlet for a good fit.

I've yet to pick it up but don't mind modding things a little if it's gonna be worth it. Just don't wanna go spending hours and hours if it's not gonna benefit all that much. But for what I paid I wouldn't have got a 2nd hand slant so can't moan.
