Default All the oils

Right guys.

Planning on giving the scoob a service. But wanting diff and box oils to go with it.

Currently running 330hp, I barely use it to be honest, but want to make sure everythings protected.

Currently on 86k miles '03 Blobeye

Im thinking Fuchs Titan Race Pro R 10w-40 Ester synth for the motor, ill get a subaru genuine oil filter for it.

Panel filter - one of the cosworth ones?

What im not sure about is gearbox and diff oils - is this even something I can do myself? Any special tools needed etc?

So really what im asking is whats the best oils for an 80 odd k scoob running at that power - and rarely used!

Hi
Engine oil
My preference in order would be

1.Silverline Synionic - Stockist Ray at Silverline
https://www.facebook.com/Silverlineukltd/

2.Fuchs - Stockist Tim/Guy at Opie Oils
http://www.opieoils.co.uk/

3.Royal Purple - Stockist Alyn at AS Performance
http://asperformance.com/contact/

Gearbox oil - would depend on how the car is used to an extent
(I use redline shock proof light - but mine is a track car so that might be over the top) You need 75/90. As a more standard oil I have used Fuchs.

Panel filter. K&N have always done me proud

Best off calling any of the above and mentioning how you use the car and what spec it is.

Cheers
Steve

Hi

You need a 75w-90 GL5 oil for the gearbox and diff.

http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-673-75w-90-gear-oil.aspx

The Millers CRX NT, Motul Gear 300, Red Line 75w-90NS and Gulf Competition are ideal as top end options. The Millers TRX Synthetic/EE Nanodrive, Mobil SHC, Castrol Syntrax Universal Plus and Valvoline Synpower TDL are good, but a step down from the top oils. Fuchs Gear Syn, Motul Motylgear, Millers TRX Semi and Castrol Universal are good, cheaper options.

Cheers

Tim
