Default TD04-N2 Turbo

Hi all, is a TD04-N2 turbo off a GB270 just as good an upgrade as a f34, 35 or 43 in peoples opinion, cheers

Looking at different topics it will go up to 280hp on GB270 and to break 300 it will have to be upgraded so I'm pretty sure that is just a standard TD04 turbo

Are you sure mate? I thought it starts at 270 and then you can upgrade it from there. The whole point is that it's not a standard TD04 it's a variant.

It's a standard TD04.

270 refers to the number of Pferdestärke that the flat four has (equivalent to 266 of our bhp). The additional power (up from 227bhp) is achieved by fitting the Prodrive Performance Pack (PPP). It has all the same engine components as any other WRX (including the turbo) and therefore makes the same power as any other WRX PPP.
