Default Help, Heater problem

Hi, I have an issue with my heaters.
Car is v5 type r.
Problem is......
Heater seems stuck on hot, only seems to work on windscreen function.
Heater hi and low speed work as it should.
At first I thought it was heater control unit, but I replaced that and exact same issue, so obviously something else?
I've checked fuses under dash on right and both fuses are ok (they have 2 15amp for heater)
Now I'm thinking of taking heater box apart under glove box but would like other things to try or diagnose first.

I like heaters blowing towards me when I'm cold
I get heat from the little vents that blow towards side windows ok so that eventually warms me up, but I want front function working.
Could it possibly be the rod type thing that changes where air goes? Mind my heater unit is electric type.

Ideas please. Thanks

It'll be the rod that changes the air direction either come off it's joints or broken.

Do they have a rod in the electric controlled units? Where will it be located?

Ah.
I'd think there must still be some motors or something that alter the position of some flaps?

Either the motors or the switches, or the wiring is not right.
