Default V1 top mount upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade my v1 top mount what's the best way with out going front mount? What works best I'm a mechanic so do mind making things fit.

I think your missing the point here. I don't want to go front mount. There must be another way. Even if it's only marginally improved.

New age sti can be made to fit, then again anything can be made to fit if you have fabrication skills and tools, there is project thread on here somewhere. Bear in mind that the small v1 bonnet vent isn't really gonna cut it and the v1 "chimney" will have to go. If it has a 90° inlet turbo that's probably going to clash too.
I wanted to try and keep my V2 looking standard and decided a cut bumper and front mount was more subtle that an oversized bonnet scoop, more eficient too.
