Cam belt replacement of idlers

Cam belt replacement of idlers
Hi Has anybody experienced pulling the tread out off the bolt holding cavity if so did you use a torque wrench or just muscle power .I am scared to wreck the tread out of the bolt holes please advice as to the correct Torque settings for all the idlers for a twin cam Subaru engine EJ25 1995 legacy grand wagon your help be very much appreciated cheers Peter

Cam belt replacement of idlers
Hi Mick thanks very much for that 39Nm is 28 Lb which does not seem a lot really but if that's correct I am ok with it I am 79 years of age and did not have the money to get the water pump replaced so did it my self with all the other bits that go with it like new tensioner idlers and belt I have just finished the timing and the belt is back in place and have turned the motor over by hand till all the marks were lined up again and started the engine It fired right away and idled beautiful thanks again Not bad for an old sod he 'haha
