Hi

First time on the forum so newbiee questions. I'm running a N/A EJ25 engine in my VW T3 crew cab but need to know what type of engine im running as I need to get a new MAP sensor and a few other bits. Got a engine number stamped on the rear right of the casing of A 841704. It's a EJ 251, but not sure what year or car it came from, think it could be a Forester or legacy.
Any help would be great.

No part numbers on the sensor ?

 

has it got a white bar code sticker on the center timing cover ?
That will tell you the exact engine designation.
