Default version 8 st engine help

hey guys

i need some advise i have a version 7 wrx and just bought a version 8 sti engine im going to be using the wrx box for the moment is there problems or issue people could help me with

Are you using heads from sti engine or using your wrx heads? As avcs will need loom to work in your car.

i can run the wrx head not an issue but is it right i can the sti head without using the avcs

Yes but what's the point using avcs heads and not using it

well il be using them at a later stage when i fit the rest of the gear

Have you got the ecu for the STi engine? If so (or of not, buy one), fit that and wire in the AVCS - you can DIY it or there are places to buy plug-and-play conversion looms
