What do you guys use to undo the nuts in the long threaded bolts holding the spoiler in place, also is there a seal between the boot lid and spoiler?

 

Just get a deep reach socket

Don't think they are sealed from the factory, but someone else might have sealed it since

 

i removed mine to fit an STI one, like above use a deep socket be careful not to drop the nuts into the lid.

Once the bolts are undone and the wire disconnected, it needs quite a big tug as the spoiler is held in with a couple of clips that just pull out.
