Default Bugeye Aluminium radiator fitment

I was just looking at aluminum radiators on various websites and most of them advertise the Newage ones as being for blob/hawk and specifically say that they do not fit bugeye's...surely there's no difference?

Im pretty sure its because of the filler cap on rad has a coolant line connector under it for overflow, bugs dont have this...however my alloy rad for bug you could unscrew this and screw a blank in.
